Su Doku Puzzle Variants

Here are some variants of su doku puzzles that I can generate. Most puzzles can have a random or a symmetric starting position. The puzzles can have different levels of difficulty and be supplied in TXT, RTF, SVG, TIFF and PDF formats. Batches of variant puzzles can be purchased for publication.


Standard 9x9Code: gp9
Complete the grid such that each row, each column and each 3x3 box contains the digits 1−9.
Standard 4x4Code: gp4
Complete the grid such that each row, each column and each 2x2 box contains the digits 1−4.
Standard 6x6Code: gp6
Complete the grid such that each row, each column and each 2x3 box contains the digits 1−6.
Standard 8x8Code: gp8

Complete the grid such that each row, each column and each 2x2 box contains the digits 1−8. Each cell contains two digits, and the upper left digit is always smaller than the lower right.
Trio 4x4Code: gp4trio
  Complete the grid such that each row, each column and each 2x2 box contains the numbers 1−12. Each cell contains three numbers, and the number at the upper left is always less than the centre number which in turn is less than the number at the lower right of the cell.

Complete the grid with the digits 1-9 such that each horizontal block and each vertical block add up to the tota shown. Digits may not be repeated in any block.

Masyu/PearlsCode: masyu
  Masyu puzzles also available!.

Draw a single loop through the middles of the cells that passes through each of the black and white pearls but does not cross itself. When the line goes through a black pearl it must go straight through at least one cell before and after the pearl, and turn right angles at the pearl. When the line goes through a white pearl, it must go straight through the pearl but must turn at right angles in either the cell before or the cell after the pearl.

Complete the grid using the digits 1-5 such that each row and each column contain one instance of each digit. In addition the values of the indicated pairs of digits must obey the less-than (<) and greater-than (>) symbols.

Complete the grid with the digits 1-7 so that each digit n is part of a group of n cells. Within a group, cells of the same digit must connect horizontally and vertically, but two different groups made up from the same digit may not touch horizontally or vertically. There may be groups in the solution which are not indicated by any digit in the original setting.

Complete the grid with the digits 1-6 (1-9 for 9x9 puzzle) so that each row and each column contains one of each digit. In addition the values in the linked boxes form a simple arithmetic sum using the given operator (+, −, ×, ÷) which must equal the total shown. Unlike killer puzzles, repeated digits are allowed in the linked boxes.
